Abandoned Stadium - The Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan

Here's a short video I made a few months ago exploring the abandoned Palace of Auburn Hills Stadium during its demolition. The Palace was where the Detroit Pistons basketball team used to play. This stadium only sat abandoned for little over a year before they started the demo process. Abandoned stadiums in the United States are always tricky to enter because of high security. The security here was really tight, and they were still using the offices inside the stadium, so it was hard to enter the property before the demolition started. The first time I went was during the weekday so my only option was to dress like a construction worker and sneak inside by myself. I got a few photos but I wanted to go back when they weren't working. By the time I made it back to Detroit the abandoned stadium was just about completely demolished. I still explored the stadium and documented what was left at that time for this video. Rest In Paradise Rebecca.
