His Majesty the Litunga (King) of Barotseland Lubosi Imwiko II had yesterday 17th January, 2019 appointed and installed Mr. Mukela Manyando as Prime Minister (Ngambela) of Barotseland replacing Mr. Nyambe Mwenda who resigned due to pressure. Newly installed Ngambela Mukela Manyando, first served as the first Ngambela for Litunga Lubosi Imwiko II in an acting capacity from 13th October 2000 to 16th October 2006. The installation took place at Lealui palace yesterday amidst jubilation. It is expected that several other indunas are expected to be appointed in the coming days to fill up vacant positions. Speaking after the installation of the Ngambela, Induna Imbwae said he was happy that Mukela Manyando has been installed Ngambela of Barotseland knowing too well that he has vast experience as a Ngambela. Imbwae asked the new Ngambela to bring peace, unity and love in Barotseland. "What I can simply tell you Mukela is your initial work as the Prime Minister is to bring love, unity and peace in Barotseland. Don't just stay in Mungu, but frequent all palaces in Barotseland." Advised Imbwae. Induna Imbwae cautioned that all resources in Barotseland belongs to the Litunga adding that Ngambela should sought out all unscripted deals trying to invade Barotseland resources. Echoeing words from Induna Imbwae, Induna Ingangwana told newly installed Ngambela that the Litunga has installed him to help Barotseland to cross the river and restore her dignity. Induna Ingangwana who really surprised the people in his bold speech said all the people who think Barotseland can be deleted, obsolete or die are joking because it is just God who can finish the Kingdom of Barotseland. Induna Ingangwana pointing at the direction of Lusaka said " you see them , bo nalwange shangwe ,shangwe ,shangwe ..malozi a muikete kakozo akuna ya kamikataza - Amube mwa mbombolelwa." He further asked the people of Barotseland to unite and come together and work with newly installed Ngambela to develop and bring sanity in Barotseland. He said all those wishing Barotseland will have bloodshed or fight are wasting their time as such a thing will never happen adding that all will move according to strategy. Induna Ingangwana reminded newly Installed Ngambela not to fear to visit the office of the Permanent Secretary, banks and other institutions to ask for financial aid or transport for movements as Zambia in 1964 came in Barotseland to steal and collected all the money that was in Barotseland treasury. "I advise you Ngambela Mukela Manyando not to fear to visit or ask the Permanent Secretary transport for any movement or fail to ask financial assistance from Banks within Mongu. You remember when they came here and collected monies that was in Barotseland treasury. So we shall eat with them because it is our money they got from us" said Induna Ingangwana as people were clapping and cheering. Ingangwana said it is surprising to note that Zambians are using BNG stamp to export Timber to South Africa while the people of Barotseland are not receiving any benefit from their resource. He wondered why the agreement that was signed by three parties is now annulled by one party leaving the two in suspense. Ingangwana further wondered why the other party is clever by abrogating the agreement a thing that he described as shameful. The vividly annoyed Induna Ingangwana who is fade up with Zambia said it is a known fact that this country is a unitary state because two countries came together and formed one country but he wondered why the other country is trying to be clever. He hastened to say there is no way in a marriage the other party is enjoying while the other party is starving instead of having mutual understanding. Some people could be seen in agreement through body language while other shed tears of Joy in show of excitement of the moving speech they have never heard from BRA Induna in Litunga Lubosi Imwiko II's reign. After realizing that the Zambian delegation who were at the Kuta for installation were feeling the heat of the speech, Induna Ingangwana calmed them by advising the new Ngambela to work well with the Government of Zambia a situation which made the people shrink their faces in disapproval. The Zambian delegation in attendance was Permanent Secretary Sibanze Simujoba, DC Litambo Ndombo, DC Sisuku Kamona, Regional Army Commmadar, Intelligence Officers and other service Chiefs.
