In Part 2 of this final drive service series, I take the rear end gear of a BMW R1200GS and give it the attention it should have had a long time ago. The final drive was in a filthy, neglected state, clearly showing signs of poor maintenance. So I cleaned everything properly and thoroughly — The Old Mechanic way — and inspected all critical areas before reassembly.
