Dear Travellovers, we have been incredibly lucky again. For a week of relaxation on the Balearic island of Mallorca we have found a beautiful hotel again. Another one of those places where you have that “ahhhh-feeling” the moment you get there. A place where you feel at home the moment you step through the door. The smiling eyes above the face masks of very friendly staff and a free upgrade to a beautiful suite were just the icing on the cake. Located 10 km south of Palma de Mallorca, just 10 minutes away from the airport, the (adult only) Pure Salt Garonda is situated right by the beach. Separated from the fine sand only by a pleasant beach promenade lined with shops, bars and many inviting restaurants. So it’s a tough choice where to relax… beach, pool deck or even the rooftop terrace “Garonda Sky” with a shallow pool and a nice breeze. Due to the upgrade to a suite there’s also the added choice of our own private terrace. Life can be hard. On cooler days you might want to try the indoor pool and spa area with sauna and steam room. The Oceanfront Junior Suite feels modern and cozy at the same time and offers phenomenal views of the turquoise ocean. If you want, even from the bathtub. The comfortable bed comes with an overwhelming choice of pillows which you can choose during online check-in. Yesterday we just spent the day relaxing on our terrace and Birgit kept saying: “This is so nice!” Breakfast was served on the pool terrace offering views of the beach and ocean. Staff were incredibly friendly and the buffet included all we could desire. Covid guidelines are implemented efficiently and we felt very safe.
