Camouflage tests in autumn woodland

Testing various camouflage patterns in an autumn woodland environment. The camouflage patterns tested in this video are: British Soldier 95 Woodland DPM/Disruptive pattern material. East German/NVA Strichtarn/Raindrop pattern. Yugoslavian/Serbian M89/M93 Oakleaf woodland camo. German Flecktarn. Polish Wz93 Pantera camouflage. In all the tests I am wearing British MTP (Multi-terrain pattern) trousers, basically the British version of multicam. As well as a generic hunting camouflage hood. Both the trousers and hood performed very well in nearly all the tests. In these tests I stood in obvious places and usually kept a backpack near my leg to make my positions more obvious, the point of these tests was not to hide from the camera but to demonstrate how well the camouflage patterns blend at different distances. In a few photos I demonstrate using better concealment positions, at which point it becomes far harder to spot my position. Also note that as many of these camouflage jackets are army surplus, some being 20+ years old, that some of the colours have faded, this can either assist or detract from the camouflages ability to hide the wearer.
