Detail Mountain, Phase 1 3:36 Add a little more white + burnt sienna (or orange) to slightly brighten the value use a basic palette knife and begin brightening the left part of the mountain this step may take awhile because you my rework some areas 2 or 3 times .............................................................. ★5.Detail mountain phase 2 4:10 the mountain begins to take on alittle more character with the addition of some snow. use white color to apply snow to the upper part of the mountain .............................................................. ★6.Add Pine trees 4:27 Mix sap green + burnt umber (or using dark green) . use a large flat brush for these pine trees It is especially important to use good negative space .............................................................. ★7. Add reflections 5:27 use a mix of white + ultramarine for sky reflections and yellow ochre + a bit of sap green for trees feflections Drybrush downward the reflections into the water and softening all of the edges 6:42 use a palette knife and white color to apply thin , horizontal water lines .............................................................. ★8. Highlight Pine trees use a foam cushions ( for sofa) and mix of sap green + yellow ochre or medium yellow to create highlight for these trees .............................................................. ★9.Underpaint wild flowers field 8:49 This step is not difficult at all . just use a large flat brush with a mix of sap green + burnt umber (or dark green) to block foreground . Now the entire painting is blocked in .............................................................. 10:17 highlight grasses with a mix of medium yellow + a bit of sap green . ★10.Paint flowers 11:19 create a cream mix of equal parts purple and white. load the tip of your flat brush and very lightly dab in some purple flowers . 11:47 then lighten the mix with white and highlight the flower .............................................................. ★11.
