RESOURCES & LINKS MENTIONED IN THIS VIDEO: //Milly's Recommended Tools and Equipment **Toyo Comfort Grip Supercutter ** http://amzn.to/2i6Ex5X The cutters I use all the time are made by Toyo. I personally prefer the pencil grip – called the Comfort Grip Supercutter – but others love the pistol grip – called a Pistol Grip SuperCutter. It’s all a matter of preference. 🔸It’s lighter and more comfortable than others I’ve tried and cuts down on cramp 🔸Lasts for ages, with replaceable head. I’ve had mine for years 🔸It has an ingenious pressure system for dispensing oil, which also enables you to gauge how much pressure you need to score a piece of glass 🔸Very good for general purpose and frequent use **Toyo Pistol Grip Cutter** https://amzn.to/2WWFAv4 **Hakko FX-601 Soldering Iron** https://amzn.to/2WtkB2M The Queen of stained glass soldering irons, the Hakko FX-601. This ticks all the must-have and wish-list boxes. I waited quite a while to buy mine but now I absolutely love its heat retention, adaptability and lightness. **Stained Glass Cut Running Pliers** https://amzn.to/2K0RoXT Running Pliers are indispensable, an absolute must for making stained glass. These pliers are to help you ‘run the score’. They are used to apply pressure to either side of the scoreline. This makes the fissure open all along the score (running) and breaks the glass apart. There are two types of running pliers – metal and plastic. I recommend getting a metal pair. 🔸The metal ones are far more robust and have a plastic coated jaws to prevent chipping. 🔸They have a thumb screw adjustment to enable you to control the amount of pressure applied to the score and to accommodate thicker glass. **Grozer/Breaker Pliers** https://amzn.to/34H5uFB These are particularly useful and have two uses: 🔸As breaking pliers by lining up the end of the jaws along your scoreline and snapping the glass along the score line. 🔸Or as grozers, which means using the serrated edges of the jaws to remove stubborn nubs and tidy edges during cutting. **Canfield 60/40 Solder – 1 Lb** https://amzn.to/2Nr2hmt **Copper foil** https://amzn.to/2CtTNWA **Flux** https://amzn.to/2NRohqV **Copper Patina** https://amzn.to/36HGobr **Respirator Mask** https://amzn.to/33v8HrK **Safety Glasses** https://amzn.to/2JZuVtZ // LINKS My main website has lots more stained glass tutorials and tips on how to make better stained glass with confidence: https://everythingstainedglass.com Follow me on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/stainedgl...
