Biking San Diego's Mission Bay: A Breathtaking Mix of Coastal Beauty and Vibrant Activity | RV Life

About this Episode; After an incredible four weeks of boondocking in Joshua Tree National Park, we are heading to the California Coast to revel in its coastal beauty. Mission Bay in San Diego caters to every preference, whether you crave relaxation or adventure. We stayed at the Mission Bay RV Resort, and we decided to indulge in a bayfront RV spot. Let me tell you, it was absolutely worth the splurge! If you ever get the chance to spend a little extra on one of these spots, it's a worthwhile investment. The panoramic views from our rear windows were nothing short of breathtaking. In between work meetings, we managed to squeeze in a delightful 12-mile bike ride around the bay. We pedaled past Sea World, encountered numerous rollerbladers, and witnessed nail biting sand volleyball tournaments. The lively atmosphere and abundance of activity rejuvenated our spirits after weeks in the desert. Returning to the RV, we were treated to awe-inspiring sunsets that greeted us each evening for the remainder of our trip. About US: Jason and Emma (The Roaming Russells) are Full Time, RV travelers - home base is Salem, OR. Along with our two cats, Steg and Little Foot, we're slowly cruising our way around the country. We exclusively boondock/dry camp and enjoy exploring the great outdoors. We especially enjoy hiking, riding our bikes and paddling on our SUPs. Stay tuned for more from The Roaming Russells!
