Then, it dawned on me that there's a version that isn't just the RBY version - that's right, there's a version that is so much different than the original but retains just the right parts that I wanted to keep. This effectively ended up being a pretty straightforward cover of the GSC version, and I enjoyed finally getting around to recording those stabs on trombone! Final Fantasy next week!
