Srpska kompanija Yugoimport SDPR predstavila je modernizovanu verziju BVP M-80A prateće IFV (Pešadijsko borbeno vozilo) pod imenom BVP M-80AB1 na sajmu Partner 2017 u Srbiji. BVP M80 je prvi put viđen 1975. godine, a sledila ga je modernizovana verzija BVP M-80A 1984 godine. BVP M-80AB1 je gusenično borbeno vozilo pešadije koje uključuje nova poboljšanja u poređenju sa prethodnom verzijom porodice BVP M-80. Opšti dizajn modela BVP M-80AB1 je sličan standardnom BVP M-80.
