In this tutorial, you will learn how to crochet your very own velvet hair scrunchies. This video is beginner-friendly for all you newbies out there as per request!! Materials Needed: 5MM Crochet Hook Velvet Yarn of Choice Scissors Hair Elastic of choice Stitches Used: HDC = Half Double Crochet SS = Slip Stitch CH = Chain a Stitch The Pattern: Securely attach velvet yarn to your elastic (shown above), cut off the tail. Round 1 Then CH 2 stitches and make 60 tight HDC into the center of the hair elastic, make sure to tighten stitches and slide stitches over to make sure you have enough room. Make an SS at the top of the first HDC.
