Cross Creek: Siberian Gales

Have been grumbling about spring rain and gales and how they've put a dent in my tramping life over the last six weeks, until had the thought - why not embrace the weather. Had long wondered about what Siberia Creek would be like in rough conditions, given the railway incident there in 1880. Some especially strong gales were forecast for Thursday, so thought this would be the time to find out. The last shots of Siberia I took were around 11am and I understand that peak wind might have been later than that. I did intend to stay a little longer, but was soaked though and starting to stiffen up, so called it quits.
