Green Hub Fellows: Banyllashisha Wankhar and Linda Horam (Batch of 2024 - 25) Organisation: Green Hub (NEN- DFF Initiative) The film Cave Within Me is a journey into a 7 km cave in Mawmluh Village, Meghalaya. In Banshylla's own words “It’s not just a film about rocks and caves, It’s about the stories, the feelings, and the lessons we find inside them.” The documentary captures the Mawmluh Cave, as Banshylla guides us through the hidden nooks and corners showing the hanging stalactites, the stalagmites and path through small openings. One chamber, known as the “Hanging Garden,” contains stalactites that helped geologists identify the Meghalayan Age, which started 4,200 years ago. Green Hub Project is a video fellowship that empowers and engages youth especially from indigenous and marginalized communities and disadvantaged backgrounds in conservation action and social change. In the northeast of India it is a Dusty Foot Foundation (DFF) and North East Network (NEN) collaboration. Green Hub is supported by Royal Enfield CSR, Rohini Nilekani Philanthropy and Paul Hamlin Foundation.
