Giorno 1 della All Around eMTB 2024 -- LINK: www.around-emtb.com La prima tappa prevedeva un giro da Aosta a La Salle passando per Vétan e il Col de Bard. 42km e circa 2300m D+ https://www.komoot.com/tour/1703651694 La sera prima della partenza, un grosso temporale ha inzuppato le montagne e tuoni forti come non li avevo mai sentiti non ci hanno lasciato dormire. Come se non bastasse, per la giornata erano previsti temporali e altri 10-20mm di pioggia...insomma, non sono partito proprio sereno...😱 Finirla è stata dura, le salite sono importanti, spesso ripide che obbligano ad usare spesso la modalità turbo, e la mia Turbo Levo del 2019 ormai fa quel che puo'... Sono arrivato al traguardo con batteria completamente vuota e dovuto pedalare solo a gamba gli ultimi metri...ma il terreno ha tenuto bene e ci ha fatto divertire nella bella discesa da col de Bard a La Salle. Serata dedicata a togliere fango dalle bici, dai vestiti e dall'anima😅 ...a e prepararsi per la seconda tappa! --ENG-- Day 1 of the All Around eMTB 2024 -- LINK: www.around-emtb.com The first stage consisted in a ride from Aosta to La Salle passing through Vétan and the Col de Bard. 42km and about 2300m D+ https://www.komoot.com/tour/1703651694 The evening before the departure, a big storm soaked the mountains and thunder as loud as I had ever heard it didn't let us sleep. As if that wasn't enough, thunderstorms and another 10-20mm of rain were forecast for the day...well, I didn't start out exactly calm...😱 Finishing it was tough, the climbs are significant, often steep which forces you to often use the turbo mode. I reached the finish line with a completely empty battery and had to pedal the last meters witout assitance... but the trails held up well and we had fun on the beautiful descent from Col de Bard to La Salle. Evening dedicated to removing mud from bikes, clothes and our souls😅 ...and getting ready for the second stage!
