In 1930, the legendary 4½ Litre Bentley Blower raced at the world’s greatest endurance event, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, famously duelling with the mighty Mercedes-Benz SSK. Nearly a century later, that competitive spirit was reignited. This film follows the return of a 1929 Bentley Blower Continuation Series car from The JBS Collection, recreated by Bentley Mulliner as part of the Blower Continuation Series. Built to authentic, period-correct specification, the car represents one of motorsport’s most iconic racing machines brought back to life. In 2023, they raced a continuation Bentley Blower at the Le Mans Classic, driven by Stuart Morley, Bentley Drivers Club Ltd 2023 Racing Driver of the Year. Despite high hopes, the team was forced to forfeit the race, leaving unfinished business on the Circuit de la Sarthe. Determined to return and finish what was started, the team came back to Le Mans Classic in 2025.
