The videos provide a necessary filling of the gap in knowledge and they also provide a way to create an unblemished view of what is done during surgery. All too often before and after photos are altered with regard to camera angle or photo shopped to produce a more outstanding result. This is simply not what is needed in today’s plastic surgery world. Plastic surgery has become ever more marketed and ever more sophisticated in avoiding real discussions of the surgeries. We really need a platform in which patients can truly understand surgery without being restricted or misdirected by external influence.
