In this video, we show you a Turkish Spiced Apple Tea Recipe. Apple Tea is something that my family and I love having when we visit Istanbul in Turkey. It is hot, sweet, full of the apple flavour with a hint of spice from the cinnamon and star anise. This Turkish Spiced Apple Recipe is so quick and easy to make and bursting with so much flavour. We have tried many versions of store-bought Apple Tea, but none of them have ever matched up against the Turkish Spiced Apple Tea that we had in Istanbul. That is until we made this Apple Tea Recipe at home! It is absolutely delicious and one that we know you all will love. For the Turkish Spiced Apple Tea Recipe, you will need: 2 grated apples 2 cups boiling water 1 cinnamon stick 1 star anise Boil the apple tea and allow to simmer for 10 minutes for the apple flavour to infuse, and then strain. You can add honey or sugar, but we didn't as the natural sweetness was just perfect! The Apple and Cinnamon flavour along with the star anise in the tea is absolutely stunning. You can have this Turkish Spiced Apple Tea hot or even cold if you wish. Each time we drink this Apple Tea, it takes us back to our trips to Istanbul where we first had this amazing beverage.
