Wanting to know more about myself, my heritage, my ethnic background, my family history, my personal traits and so on. I feel knowing these things, gives one a higher sense of self identity. So I wanted to know more about me, and where my family comes from. So...in June, I spat in a tube and sent it off to the Ancestry DNA lab to have my DNA tested. All my life I've been told I'm Black, Irish, West Indian, and Indian. I was shocked to find out the truth. These are the results... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hit rock bottom at 23. I needed to find myself. To learn to live again. To let go of my past, and repaint my future. I moved back home with my family at the age of 26 to start over. I vowed that during this time, I would do more with my life than I had done with the first 26 years. Travel more, meet new people, try new things, and become the greatest me I can be in the process.
