At the end of 2023 we said goodbye to the last group of breakers in Alicante. We not only end two years of program but also close one of the most beautiful chapters of our recent history as Genion team. The Break is a program to attract European female talent to Spain that we had the immense pleasure of leading in the Valencian Community during 2022 and 2023. Funded by the European Union, it is a program designed by the Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) and managed by The Break Alliance, highlighting the role of the Impact Hub Madrid team. This program has brought 1,000 women entrepreneurs from all over Europe to Spain so that they could have a retreat (a break) of about a month and incorporate new perspectives to their projects, create new business relationships ... and also creating a large network (which we have always called sisterhood) to continue learning and collaborating. The Break (www.the-break.eu) allowed us to: 🌍 Gain global and more feminine perspectives ( ✊ ) to achieve the resolution of our local challenges. 👭 Accompany entrepreneurial women with extraordinary talent to grow. 💚 To confirm that our path (the one that makes us happy) is increasingly diverse, creative, respectful, cooperative, feminine, circular, European.... and the story continues!!! LOCAL IMPACT -52 breakers, 20 nationalities -420 hours invested in the local challenge, stage after stage +300 valuable contacts created -Nearly 1000 hours of mentoring, 30 professionals in the incredible expert network in all the areas you can imagine... We want to THANK YOU... first of all our 52 BREAKERS. We want to THANK them for their energy, for their dedication, for their humility and because perhaps they have given us much more than we have been able to give them. And a second big thank you to the EXPERT NETWORK of professionals (about 30 people) who have become MENTORS of the breakers and who have been there all these months to help them: Alicia Filiu, Silvia Campos, Miguel Davia, Julián G. And Agost, to the most artisan work. -TECHNOLOGICAL ENTITIES: Inescop's role is fundamental to contextualize the challenge, Avecal's role to bring it closer to the sector and map the young feeling and 3D Soul School to map futures that are already almost a reality. -ACADEMIC ENTITIES. Without them it would not have been possible the approaching of 300 young people. University of Alicante, Alicante Science Park, DELEITE and Valle de Elda, Monastil, La Melva and Azorín High Schools, the Digital District... -ASSOCIATIONS: Adlypse, Jovempa, AEPA, Avecal... FEVECTA representing the Valencian COOPs and informing about this business model that we like so much. -MOBILITY, key in the whole program to allow the breakers to travel around our territory.
