Finally finished this project! A lot of searching for video content, but it's all here. This is the first part of a pentalogy on maritime aviation of the Third Reich. A review of the Luftwaffe's inventory and operations at sea, the series provides a companion of sorts to my videos on the Graf Zeppelin (   • The Carrier Graf Zeppelin  ) and the Luftwaffe versus the Kriegsmarine in their administrative and logistical battle for control over maritime aviation (   • Kriegsmarine vs Luftwaffe: The Battle for ...  ). If you're looking for the video on the Weimar Republic's aviation adventures in Soviet Russia, check out this one (   • 15 April 1925 - Germany Returns to the Ski...  ). This first installment covers the pre-Luftwaffe days through to about 1938 and includes a discussion of Luftwaffe operations at sea in the Spanish Civil War. The next episode picks up with aircraft entering service in the late 30s while the episodes thereafter cover both the aircraft and their operational history during the war. Plenty of video coverage and lots of detail as I always try to have in my videos! Cheers, my dears! --- As an aside, I would like to appreciate the criticism on my recording style lately. In fact, I deleted about a half-dozen videos so that I might improve upon my product. Specifically, I know that some people dislike videos that include myself visually and not just my voice for the soundtrack, so I did try to improve upon that while still catering to the overwhelming majority who seem pleased with this format. I know the lighting is off a bit despite the best efforts, but I also noted complaints about my camera angle, bustline, and things like that. Hopefully you all enjoy the change as a via media. I am considering the suggestions on having a male narrator rather than using my own voice, but for now it's just yours truly and I kind of like it that way. Likewise, I am trying to improve production value, and I appreciate your complaints and suggestions, I just don't have it in my budget at the current moment.
