Hello. In this video, I'll be teaching you how to perform a tech called BLJ (Backwards Long Jump) in Minecraft, using the Retro64 mod combined with Mario's model. The key things to know about this glitch are the conditions you need for them. In the original game, you could only BLJ on stairs, elevators, and directly underneath ceilings. Knowing this, we can recreate one of those environments, via Minecraft's building mechanics. By creating a blocked path that we can BLJ into with a shortened ceiling, we can recreate the glitch. Another thing to note, is that negative speed in the original .z64 file of Super Mario 64 has no cap. This means, that since we're using that exact version of Mario for this glitch, that it'll work in Minecraft! I've also added how to use this mod, below. In order to play as Mario from a decompiled version of Super Mario 64 in Minecraft, you’ll need the following: Minecraft Java Edition, Curseforge/Fabric (I haven’t tried it using Fabric yet), a strong enough and compatible device, a .z64 file of Super Mario 64 (I legally cannot supply this via Youtube, I’m sorry), and the .jar file from the Retro64 mod website. Retro64: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/... Minecraft Java Edition: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store... Curseforge: https://www.curseforge.com/download/app You’ll need to make an instance of 1.18.2 on Curseforge, and once you have, open the “mods” folder for the instance you’ve made, and drag the .z64 file of Super Mario 64 you’ve acquired, and the .jar file from Retro64 into it. Once you have, load Minecraft from Curseforge, and test the mod out!
