When this post goes live, I already have the power plug in my hand. The platform for language services will go offline on 30 June 2022. I'm Nadja Ritter, the managing director of the start-up Yes Sir!®️ Over 600 translators, interpreters and language talents from all over the world had hoped for client orders in 200 languages. As translators are often sole traders, they had gladly exchanged high agency commission for our low platform fee. In war zones like Kabul, we prepared everything to help translators survive with online jobs from abroad. On the other side of our website, small and big clients configure their desired service based on real purchase prices. We reinvented the wheel and charged no commission to the client. Our story ends here. In short, a competitor raised $30 million dollars funding, and they follow the same vision and almost the same mission is already done. I like to say thank you to my team of 35 people who did not want to give up, but together we decided the competitor is too strong. This looks like our last post if you do not have any questions or topics you like to hear about. www.yes-sir.com takes orders until 30. June 2022.
