Good day friends! If you like our videos and want to support our channel you may send us a SUPERTHANKS or donate to our accounts PayPal: islandlife1221 (Darlene Bumacod) Gcash: 09123132322 (Boris Kuznetsov) Thank you so much for watching! It's a beautiful day in Maco, Davao de Oro. We're getting ready for an exciting adventure, and we're taking you along for the ride. Ate Shirley - has become our friend thanks to our youtube channel. And today, we'll be exploring Davao de Oro. Along with her husband Kuya Bugsy and their daughter Chantal. We are driving along a provincial road drenched in greenery and palm trees. What a beautiful sight. We stopped by this cafe to buy traditional rice cakes and desserts. Everything looks very appetizing. After an hour+ drive, we reached our destination. In Nabunturan municipality, there is a protected landscape of Mainit hot springs. A small resort called Toyozu Mountain Resort has been built here. In it, you can relax with health benefits. On the way we got hungry and decided to have lunch first. The weather is very good for our little picnic. Families and companies are housed in small gazebos. Filipinos call them cottages. There is a table, benches and most importantly a roof that protects from the rain and the scorching sun. There are many swimming pools with warm water on the territory of the resort. According to the locals, the water is very therapeutic. It is relaxing, body and muscle pains disappear, and blood circulation improves. We approached the cave and looked inside. It turns out that despite the fact that on the tropical islands eternal summer Filipinos also do not mind to steam in the sauna. In the center of the cave flows a steamy stream, and on the sides are benches. People here warm up, get rid of toxins, and then go to the warm pools. There are public pools and private pools that can be rented for your company. After a relaxing swim in the warm pool, we head to the next attraction -Lake Leonard. As we climbed up the mountain road, the breeze got colder and colder. And then it started to rain. Tambo is a cozy cafe and observation deck located along the Maragusan - Mawab highway. From here, you can get a great view of Lake Leonard. Tambo means "with a view." The lovely owner welcomed us and told us that the place is closed now, but we could go in and take photos. Lake Leonard is located in the crater of an active volcano. It used to be inhabited by crocodiles. Therefore, the local Mansaka people called it Crocodile Lake. Later the municipality of Mako named it after the prospector Leonard Kniazev for his economic contributions. The weather was not in our favor today, but we will definitely come back here again. We said goodbye and headed to one of the most visited places in Mako - Bilawa Mainit hot waterfalls. The weather had finally turned bad. We were questioning whether to go to the waterfalls, but we were close by, so Kuya Bugsy and Boria decided to take a look. Today was a happy day, we met new friends and bonded with them. The hospitality that Filipinos show is like no other. We can say that we belong here and that we have found our home."
