As "Plastic Surgeon of the Week" and as an active member, it is my distinct pleasure and honor to give a brief history of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Having been a member of ASPS over the last 12 years, I have come to rely on the organization for my personal education, goals for innovation, and advocacy of the specialty.
