The Dutch Waffen-SS volunteers that served in Regiment Westland (Standarte Westland) of the Wiking Division did commit war crimes on the Eastern Front. They were involved in the Lviv Pogrom and took part in massacres of Jews and partisans during Operation Barbarossa in Ukraine. They sometimes worked with the Einsatzgruppen and Ukrainian collaborators. Then there was also the Dutch Volunteer Legion (Vrijwilligerslegioen Nederland) and Landstorm Nederland.
