First garden walk of the season - March 2026 | Zone 7B | Signs of Life & March Garden Projects

Early March in the garden is one of my favorite times of year. It’s quiet… but if you slow down and really look, you’ll see so much beginning to wake up. In today’s garden tour, I’m walking through the beds to see what’s popping up — early perennials, bulbs, and those first signs of green that remind us the growing season is right around the corner. I’m also sharing a few projects I’ve started to prepare the garden for spring — light cleanup, bed prep, and small improvements that will make a big difference in the weeks ahead. This is the gentle transition season. Not full bloom yet… but full of promise.
