We had the opportunity to discuss a sustainable future with Pablo Luna, a Chilean-born architect, artist, and designer with a Peruvian – Lebanese heritage background. Our discussion focused on sustainability practices and the Mandala project. Founder and Lead Architect of Pablo Luna Studio, Pablo is leading a team of over 20 designers, architects, and artisans that are dedicated to making the physical world around them better for everyone. Based out of their combined workshop and design studio in Bali, Indonesia, Pablo Luna’s Studio creates buildings, spaces, masterplans, objects, and infrastructure. Focusing on large-scale architecture projects in cities all over the world, prioritizing those with the greatest positive social impact. He has a design philosophy that embraces Biomimetic Architecture and aims at replicating the finest of nature’s behavior of biological organisms to solve human problems, overcome technical design limitations, and stretch out the boundaries of what is possible and what is not. The studio’s partnership with Mandala is set to take the Eco-Village project to new heights, with iconic and unique designs at the heart.
