Aynı taşlığa üçüncü dalışım da balıklardan bir tanesini atış yapabilecek kadar yaklaştırdım…Bu avda özellikle belli noktaları vurgulamak istiyorum. Yıllardır avlandığım sinarit tutan bir taş. Balığın hareketi taşın kumla bağlandığı en derin noktasında oluyordu. Hep aynı noktada avlıyordum. İlk ve ikinci dalışlarımı her zamanki noktaya yaptım. İşler bu sefer farklıydı. Balıklar bu sefer taşın daha sığ olan bölgesindeydiler ve bana hiç yaklaşmadılar. İkinci dalışta bunu iyice gözledim. Balıkların geliş yönleri ve hareketlerini iyi analiz etmeniz, bir daha ki dalışınızda işinizi kolaylaştırır. Bu sayede üçüncü dalışta sonuca ulaştım. Peki bunun nedeni ne olabilirdi? Birkaç farklı etken olabilir. Bu avdaki dip akıntısı her zaman ki yönünden farklıydı ve ciddi dip soğu vardı. 10 metrelerden sonra su ısısı 2 derece düşüyordu. Bu nedenlerden bir tanesi olabilir. Çevrede yunuslar vardı, bu diğer bir neden olabilir. Bunun dışında benden önce bölgede dalış yapmış kişiler olabilir. Bu tip durumlar balıkların davranışlarını çok etkileyebiliyor. Balıklar hızlı tepki verdiler, hızlı geliş her zaman hızlı dönüş demektir… Bu nedenle menzile girer girmez atış yaptım. Balıktan çıkan baloncuklar hava kesesinin patladığının en net göstergesidir. Peki bu durum ne anlama gelir? Balığın karın bölgesinden vurulmuş olabileceğini, yumuşak etli sinaritin kendini yırtabileceğini gösterir. Peki ne yapmalıyız? Makara ipinizi mümkün olduğunca serbest bırakarak balığın en yakın taşa girmesini sağlayın. Bu avda da öyle oldu. Mümkün olduğunca balığı serbest bıraktım, balık taşa girdi. İkinci dalışta balığı yüzeye çıkardım. Kısacası basit gibi görünen yaklaşık 2 dakikalık bu çekimin içerisinde aslında birçok önemli nokta var. Herkese sağlıklı dalışlar dilerim. In my third dive to the same rocky site, one of the fish got close enough for a shot… In this hunt, I especially want to emphasize several important points. This story is about a rocky site where I ‘ve been hunting for many years, which is as well a snapper haunt. Fish were usually wandering at the deepest section where the transition to the sand from the rock is. I was hunting snapper more or less at the same point in my previous hunts. Once again, I did my first and second dive to the same spot where I used to do. But this time, things happened differently. Fish were at the shallow side of the rocky section and didn’t get close to me for a shot. Especially in my second dive, I observed this quite well. It is always important and makes things easier, if you analyze the directions fish come from, in addition to their behavior. Thanks to that, I took the results in my third dive, which eventually gave me a chance to shoot. So, what might be the reason for that? In fact, the answer of that question is not only one. There might be several possible reasons. First of all, the direction of the deep water current was different, and also the temperature was relatively low. The water temperature was dropping 2C degrees after 10 meters of depth. This might be one of the reasons. In addition to that, there were dolphins around. We should count that too. Besides, several other guys who possibly hunted in the same area might be another probable reason. All these kind of situations are able to affect fish behavior seriously. Fish reacted to me fast, got into range faster - which means they will probably get away faster. That’s why I made my shot as soon as they got into shooting range. Bubbles coming out from the fish after your hit is the clear indicator of a shot made right into the swim bladder, which is damaged. And, what that means? This means, you probably hit the fish from the ventral side and it may got away, since a snapper with a very soft body can easily tear its own skin. So what should we do to avoid that? First of all, you should leave your speargun’s pulley loose as much as you can, in order to let the fish get into the closest crack around, to hide itself as an instinct. In this hunt, I applied the same method, first, letting the fish got into the crack and taking it to the surface in my next dive. Long story short, in this 2 minutes of record, there are plenty amount of important points to take lessons from. I wish everyone safe dives.
