Baldur's Gate 2 - Tougher and Smarter Illasera (Ascension/SCS)

Here we are fighting against Illsaera, one of the Five, whose encounter is enhanced by both Ascension's Tougher Illasera and SCS's Smarter Illasera components. She is much more dangerous than in vanilla, however she's still one of the easier ToB encounters. I've included a failed attempt, my first successful attempt (this playthrough), and a second successful and faster attempt. The most dangerous opponent in the encounter is undoubtedly Illasera herself, if you leave her alone. Her arrows will punch through and remove ALL of your buffs, regardless of how many protections you have layered on. The only way to prevent her arrows from removing your buffs is to have Protection from Magic Weapons cast. You can either take down her companions first and then her, or simply go all out on her and try to get a kill. Once she's dead her minions run away. Regardless of how you do it you'll want someone on her at all times so she focuses more on running away than filling your party with her arrows.   / omni
