Watagans 4x4 : Wave Rock! Is this one of the hardest 4wd Tracks in the Watagans? The Watagans State Forrest and Watagans NP is one of NSW Premier 4wd locations. Only two hours from Sydney it offers a myriad of excellent 4wd tracks from mild to extrem 4wd. Today we have another Watagans 4x4 adventure with five drivers and vehicles in attendance. We have John John in his Toyota Hilux, Mark in his Jeep JK, Kurt in his Patrol Ute GU 4.2, Karl in his Jeep JK, Adrian in his Toyota Hilux and myself in Tiny the Defender 110 tackling Ant Hill. A pretty challenging short 4x4 rock climb with multiple steps and little traction which is highlighted by the rolled Nissan Navara on the hill. After that, we tackle arguably one of the most challenging short 4wd track called Wave Rock a steep short Watagans 4x4 rock climb with multiple high rock steps which are awkwardly spaced out and it often requires a bit of shuffling with not much room to get the 4wd appropriately aligned. It then is imperative for the front and rear diff locks to work at precisely the right moment which proved difficult for the vehicles with e-lockers.
