Safety film from The Window Film Company works by holding the glass together in the frame in the event of accidental or malicious breakage or damage. In the event of glass breaking the film holds the pieces together, instead of allowing them to separate into sharp, dangerous shards that can fall in on themselves, causing potential injury and danger. Once in place the film is virtually undetectable, allowing an uninterrupted view from both sides of the glass, effectively providing an invisible layer of protection. An additional benefit to this film is that it blocks up to 99% of the sun's harmful UV rays - the biggest single contributing factor to fade damage.
