Whether you’re planning a trip here or dreaming of one, you’ll see just how easy it is to travel on a budget and still make lifelong memories. 🚌 Top Tips for Getting Around Zagreb: Stay in or near Uptown – It puts you right in the heart of the city. You won't need a car, and the buses and trams are super easy to use. Download the Zagreb City Public Transit App: Zagreb City Transit App - ZET You can even pay for rides by tapping your phone after boarding! Google Maps also works well for navigating routes and schedules. Bring cash for small shops and cafes (many are cash-only). Carry a reusable water bottle – Zagreb’s water is clean and there are fountains all over the city! Use WhatsApp – Most local hosts and businesses use it for communication. Free City WiFi – Helps you stay connected and use travel apps without draining your data. Try to go early to beat the heat and catch more vendors! 🚶 Tkalčićeva Street & Ban Jelačić Square – A lively, colorful area perfect for strolling and people-watching. ⛪ St. Mark’s Church – Snap some photos of that iconic tiled roof!
