Holy cow that 165 fight sure was annoying Toucannon is an okayish carry. Which is pretty bad considering all Population Bomb carries I've tried so far are literally some of the best carries in the game. It has a lot of issues holding it back First, its most glaring problem is its Speed. Base 60 is just horrendous and it means that you're required to run Trailblaze to boost its Speed. Even then, you'd generally need 2 Trailblaze just to get into a good enough Speed range to sweep Second problem is its Flying STAB. While Beak Blast is a very good move normally in Pokemon, in PokeRouge it's pretty bad since you face so many different kinds of mons.
