"What is the ground upon which we stand?" Join Rev. Sage Cole, Rev. Judith Lethin and Rev. Sue Turley for a short liturgy kicking off our month of exploring the third day of Creation. If the church is not a building, or a set of professed beliefs, or a prescribed practice, what is it? It is a people growing in love, honesty and usefulness. Emanuel Swedenborg called this growth process Regeneration, and saw the story of the 7 Days of Creation from Genesis as a template for that journey. As the Helen Keller Spiritual Life Collaborative seeks to find its footing in the world, we are embarking on a 7 month journey through the Days of Creation to invite all our collaborators in to reflect on this journey of growth, share what’s helping us along the way, what we are learning, and to consider together what new forms of new church life may be longing to be created through us. December 21, 2025 – DAY ONE “Let there be light!” What light is emerging? What darkness are we coming to see, understand, integrate? January 18, 2026 – DAY TWO “We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” How are we setting boundaries that support the flourishing of our light? February 15, 2026 – DAY THREE “What is the ground upon which we stand?” What foundations have appeared? What nexus point do we stand at? March 22, 2026 – DAY FOUR “What lights guide our way?” What are our guiding lights as we move forward? April 19, 2026 – DAY FIVE “What is starting to come alive in our spiritual & natural bodies?” What is multiplying? What is moving? May 17, 2026 – DAY SIX “Embodying our light.” What is our full form? How do we live what we’ve become? June 21, 2026 – DAY SEVEN “Flow, surrender and resting in light.” Sabbath rest – celebrating what’s been born. This journey is for anyone who: Senses the world is birthing something new. Longs for sacred community grounded in love, honesty, and usefulness Seeks to embody divine life, not just believe in it Feels called by Emanuel Swedenborg’s vision of the new church and Helen Keller’s witness of spiritual depth and useful service. HOW WE WILL GATHER: Each month includes three components: 1. Virtual Liturgy (pre-recorded video) Released on the scheduled Sunday, watch on your own time that week. Each 20-30 minute liturgy explores that month’s Day of Creation and Stage of Regeneration through teaching, reflection, and ritual. 2.
