Join us for a heartwarming look at the LVMPD Foundation’s 2025 Back to School Initiative, where volunteers, officers, and community partners came together to pack and distribute 1,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies for local students in need. This video captures the incredible spirit of service—from the energy of the backpack assembly day with support from the LVMPD Community Oriented Policing Teams, Lexicon Bank, Palms Mortuaries & Cemeteries, and Walmart, to the emotional moment a recently reunited family received backpacks for their children. After facing hardship and separation following the arrest of both parents, this family’s reunion was made a little brighter with a gesture of compassion and community support.
