In an era where love is increasingly policed in the name of caste and morality, couples who choose to marry by choice face threats, violence, and social pressure. Since August 2025, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has opened its party offices across Tamil Nadu to couples seeking inter-caste, inter-faith, and self-respect marriages. More than 100 couples have already been married with the party’s support. This video features voices of couples and CPI(M) workers who speak about caste opposition, emotional blackmail, physical attacks, and the lack of legal protection for inter-caste marriages.
