1 cup v60, 1:16, 4.7 zp6, 4 pour + bloom, 200' water. Ilse Colombia Luis & Robinson Ceullar. This has been a very hard coffee to get right. I spent the last two days trying different things to get the best cup I could. This is the best I could do with this coffee atm. I did a concentric circle from the outside in and a finer grind size but also a 4th pour. I had tried upping the temp and a lot of different styles of pouring and grind size. But in the end it was a 4th pour with the finer grind that made it better. Before it was either way too citric or under extracted. It has lots of slick and full acidity with blackberry, orange meringue, and it says peach but not sure I am getting it, I almost want to say it's plum. In the end it was a pleasurable cup. Tomorrow I plan to lower the temp, keep the 4th pour and may change grind. I'll be trying for more separation now that I got a well extracted cup.
