‘Do More with Less’ is usually the unwanted mantra of the underfunded, but in honors, it can be a chance for students to hone their leadership and creativity skills to build programs that genuinely speak to their interests. Hear an example of how one program tripled in size by letting students design their living-learning community experience, the mentoring program they implemented, and the surprising ways they created meaningful honors experiences for their peers. The simple honors program of the past may offer ways to inspire risk-taking and reduce the honors fragility we worry about for the future. At NCHC's Annual Conference, Best Honors Administrative Practices (BHAP) provides a series of short presentations that propose examples, experiments, innovative ideas, or research that highlight the future of honors administrative practices for an engaged community.
