Tarkali beach & Devbagh beach in Konkan are famous for their pristine and serene sandy beaches on the west coast of India. Famous for its water sports and one the only few places in India where you can scuba dive. We started our journey from Pune via Car on NH48. I guarantee you will enjoy the drive. Stopped for lunch on the way at Ajara village that is famous for special variety of rice ‘Ghansal’. Don’t miss the delicious sugarcane juice there. BEST PLACE TO STAY IN MALVAN is Devbagh beach. It’s a perfect place to spend quiet time in the lap of nature. Many hotels have private beach areas. Have breakfast and evening tea by the sea! MUST TRY FOOD IN MALVAN fresh and sumptuous seafood variety like Surmai (King fish/Seer fish), Pomfret, Prawns and Crab. Things to do in Devbagh, Tarkalri, Malvan / Places to visit in Tarkarli Day 1: Private boat excursion (Rs 1700) for 5 individuals Dolphin Point Bhogave Beach – Awarded as India’s best beach 2019 Nivti Beach Nivti Rock Seagull Island Sangam Point Tsunami Island Tsunami island is famous for water sports. It also has few stalls that serve snacks. Water sports package (Rs 500/pp) that includes Jet ski, Banana Ride & Bumper Ride Parasailing double ride (Rs 1200/pp) +Tarkarli scuba diving / Scuba Diving at Devbagh(Rs 1000/pp) This was a private boat and unlike Malvan where you might go 15 feet deeper, Devbagh provides deeper diving (25 feet). Scuba diving at Malvan is a bit cheaper (Rs 600/pp). If you are water friends, experience Tarkarli scuba diving. One of the best restaurants to dine in Devbagh is ‘Mai Bhojanalay’.
