Track 1 from a recording session from the late 90's by the ex guitarist from The DT's; Big Al Taylor, featuring Anthony Harty On bass, Jason Forrester on keyboards, and the late Ian Wilkinson on drums. When we were all playing in the DT's, Big Al used to talk about his 'kitchen noodelling' where he'd just sit and play and make up tunes, and we went on to do a couple of his tunes in the live set. We thought it would be a good idea to get them down on tape, and we also talked about going out as the "Big Al Taylor 4', but sadly it never happened. I've always described Big Al's playing as somewhere between Hank Marvin and Stevie Ray Vaughan, but I'll leave that for you to decide. I think he was inspired, especially on Latino Nights, by a guitarist we saw in Italy called Tolo Marton, when we did the Latino Blues Festival, to do these instrumental tracks................
