This month we are easing into February with some new music from our favorite author and Cabinet of Wonders curator, Wesley Stace. We had a sneak preview of this performance last December with his rendition of the John Prine cover, “Christmas In Prison”. When Wes stopped through North Carolina a few months back to film an official music video for his song “Better Tell No One Your Dreams”, we kept him busy and the cameras rolling as he performed an acoustic set at the historic Norwood-Jones Law Office. Located right up the street from the Yep Roc building in downtown Hillsborough, the Norwood-Jones Law Office was obtained from the Commissioners of Orange County by the Preservation Fund of Hillsborough and restored as a typical 19th century law office. Inside the small historic space, watch and listen as Wes performs “Better Tell No One Your Dreams”, ”You’re A Song”, “How To Fall” and a cover of the Guys And Dolls tune “If I Were A Bell“.
