NO Prophecy is of PRIVATE Interpretation!

There is a verse that many church goers will quote, and it says this; "No prophecy is of private interpretation." And they will tell you; "If you are not going to our church then you have your own interpretation of the Bible, which is wrong, but because we are the church, and we have a great amount of people that agree with us, we have the public well accepted interpretation of the Bible, therefore it is right." And they will tell you that their interpretation is right because many people agree with them, and because you do not agree with their interpretation, then you are wrong. BUT guys, how many people have to agree until it is the right interpretation? Is it 10 people? Or is it 10,000 people? because no matter how many men agree with a doctrine does NOT make it a true doctrine. I want to read this verse for you, it's in 2 Peter chapter 1 verse 20-21 it says; "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy NEVER came by the will of man, but HOLY MEN OF GOD SPOKE AS THEY WERE MOVED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT." See, they did not care how many people agreed with them, they were holy men of God, MOVED by the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! When men spoke by the power of the Holy Spirit they were moved by GOD ALMIGHTY. It wasn't by how many people agreed with their interpretation. It wasn't about what they thought AT ALL! It was about how the HOLY SPIRIT gave them utterance. So you decide, is your church REALLY speaking with the power of the Holy Spirit? OR do they despise prophecies? Because it is also written in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5; "Do not despise prophecies, do not quench the Spirit." Are you quenching the Spirit? Are you despising prophecies? because the Holy Spirit speaks through the man and the woman of GOD. If you despise them, you are despising the Spirit of the Living God. The correct interpretation of the Bible is not held by any one man or any one woman or ANY ORGANIZATION, it's held by NO ONE CHURCH. But it comes through the Spirit of the Living God. It doesn't matter what any man thinks, it ONLY matters what the Spirit of the Living God is speaking. May the grace of Jesus be with you.
