Released in arcades in 2006 in Japan and 2007 in the US by Sega, Asian Dynamite is a 3D action beat-em-up game for the NAOMI system (Sega Dreamcast hardware). The game is known as "Dynamite Deka EX" in Japan and is a sequel to "Dynamite Cop", and in actuality it's a remake of Dynamite Cop but with Asian themes and settings because the plot is exactly the same as in the prior game. The biggest change here besides the scenery and playable characters is a cosplay element was added. Seriously. Picking up suitcases dropped by enemies will transform your character into one of several Asian-themed alternate characters (3 per character), such as a Chinese dress-wearing dual-pistol-wielding woman, a Shaman-like zen master, a card-wielding clown that looks like if Harley Quinn was a real circus jester, a cross between an undead zombie & Edward Scissorhands and more. Yes, even more ridiculous than in the prior game, but more fun too and with greatly improved graphics. It's better seen than described. Even though it was basically a Dreamcast game, there are no known console ports.
