Kukui: EX Maxie / EX Silver / Cheryl I've done this theme before but for a Legendary Arena (   • Azelf Legendary Arena, but I can only use ...  ), and I think this week is one of the best to finally bring it to Champion Stadium as the featured weaknesses are all common coverage types, which made it easier to find on-type strikers for them. "Coverage moves" in this case mean any regular moves that aren't the same type as the sync move. So as the thumbnail shows, Bede can't use Dazzling Gleam (and by extension G-Max Smite), but he can use Mystical Fire and Psybeam. Here's how each battle went, and the sync grids used: Vs. Acerola: Selene / Thorton / EX Sonia - https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=... I haven't gotten the chance to use Selene much, but I do find her kit interesting. Because of her innate crit boosts, both Leaf Blade and her sync move already have perfect crit after her trainer move - but I have to rely on Spirit Shackle here, which is why I bring an external crit buffer in Sonia. Thorton completes the team with his flinches, one of the few I can use for this theme. Vs. Kahili: Lusamine / Will / EX Palentines Bea - https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=... Tbh I see Lusamine more as an Ice striker than a Bug striker nowadays (unless we're talking about Azelf's stage) since Blizzard is a lot more satisfying to spam than her other moves - as long as she has Hail to back her up. She gets that from Palentines Bea, who also gives her offensive buffs. PalBea also forms a double flinch core here with Will to give Lusamine enough turns to spam Blizzard. Vs. Molayne: EX Bede / EX Anniversary Raihan / Torchic - https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=... One of those 1-2-3 punches that you gotta get out of your system sometimes, especially with the half-sync countdown parameter in play. Thanks to the EX boost, Anni Raihan's sync still deals massive damage even off-type. That sets up sun with Solar Sync, and with the SE Up Next from his trainer move intact, both he and Bede finish the stage with their own Max Flares. Torchic being KOed by the first move was unfortunate but I just needed one of his trainer moves to complete both Bede's and Raihan's buffs. Vs. Olivia: EX Cyrus / Lisia / EX Kiawe - https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=... Cyrus doesn't have enough accuracy tiles on his grid to fix Hydro Pump, so I brought Lisia to help him with her evasion debuffs. She can't use Twister to flinch though, so she's stuck spamming Defog, her trainer move, and Moonblast if the gauge is cooperative enough. Kiawe tries to make that happen with his Speed buffs, though sadly his Shadow Bone debuffs don't get much use here. Vs. Kukui: EX Maxie / EX Silver / Cheryl - https://ng-pomatools.web.app/team?v0=... Solar Beam duo! It's gotten even more ridiculous now since I've unlocked Maxie's full grid, so he now has access to Solar Beam multipliers as well as Mind Games 9.
