The Chakma people are the largest ethnic group in the Chittagong Hill Tracts region in southeastern Bangladesh. They are a native group from the easternmost regions of the Indian subcontinent. Some suggest they are the original inhabitants of these lands. What is the origin of these people? Are they really related to Gautama Buddha? To find the answers to these questions along with the proper history of Chakma people on record till 1947 watch this video full. Why incomplete? Because I want to show a neutral perspective of history in this channel. But I feel after the Pakistan govt. took over all the histories about the Chakma people have been fabricated since then. So, to show a neutral perspective in this case I must talk to someone who belongs to this amazing group of people. If you are someone who can provide me with proper historical plots and facts about the history after 1947 please do let me know.
