Delegates attending the Routes Europe 2024 airline route development and airport services conference and exhibition in Aarhus, Denmark were offered a choice of pre-event activities designed to teach them more about what the beautiful city has to offer. The most adrenaline-packed choice was certainly the educational harbour tour that took 11 guests out to sea onboard a high-speed RIB (rigid inflatable boat). With everyone dressed in waterproof coastal suits provided by the Sea Rangers, the tour headed out to sea with the pilot showing off the RIB's high speed and incredible versatility, stopping in certain areas for the guide to move to the front of the boat and tell us about some of the history, architecture and unique characteristics that make Aarhus such an interesting place to visit. To learn more about the Aarhus Sea Rangers, where the company is in terms of post-Covid recovery and what plans they have for the future, Steven Howard of Travel News Asia sat down with Niels K.
