Do you have elbow pain? Do you have tennis elbow or brachioradialis pain? Let me try to help you figure it out. Once we do, then we can work on fixing it! If you are having pain along the outside of your elbow, there are 2 common causes. 1. You may have inflammation and restriction in the brachioradialis muscle. 2. You have have more traditional lateral epicondylitis (AKA Tennis Elbow). The brachioradialis attaches to your humorous bone (arm bone), crosses the elbow joint, and inserts onto the end of your radius bone. It does NOT cross the wrist joint. The 2 primary muscles involved in tennis elbow are the extensor carpi radialis brevis and longus. They originate from the lateral epicondyle, travel down the forearm, and attach to the 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones. They DO cross the wrist joint. In today's video, I discuss how to test and figure out which muscles are involved in your elbow pain. Then, I demonstrate some myofascial release techniques to fix each problem. Give these techniques a try. After you do, let me know your thoughts. Leave me a comment in the comment section down below. I'd love to hear from you! TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR OWN HEALTH!
