On our road trip to Awash, we were honoured to be joined by H.E Karel Hejč. He prepared his gear to, not only share his passion for food he learned in his country (when he was a boy scout), but to actually cook it and allow our team to taste it in the middle of nowhere. With the help of hot rocks, mud, water and bamboo stick, this unique recipe shows us how we can survive in nature while combining cooking technics that include, steaming and baking. This meat recipe that combines Ethiopian spices and tastes form Czech Republic is rapped in cabbage leaves to serve both as an ingredient, for the meal, and as an eco-friendly hygienic packaging.
