Modern lighting poses a new challenge to photographers in the from of flicker. In an effort to mitigate this problem, Canon’s hybrid cameras (and many of their more recent DLSRs) include an Anit-flicker shooting function. In this video we’ll look at how to enable it and what it does to reduce problems with flicker in your images. Canon’s Anti-Flicker shooting mode enables the camera to track and synchronize releasing the shutter with detected flicker in a scene. This allows you to more safely shoot at any shutter speed without having dark bands or other artifacts appear in your images.
