Felicity Nguyen, Jastel David of Santa Margarita Girls Soccer, Fourth Straight Trinity League Title

Teammates Felicity Nguyen, a Texas A&M-bound junior forward, and Utah-bound senior forward Jastel David of Santa Margarita Catholic High in California, helped the visiting Eagles secure their fourth consecutive Trinity League girls soccer title with a 0-0 tie against Orange Lutheran High of California in the regular-season finale for both teams at Montell Field. Santa Margarita tied Orange Lutheran for the second time in league competition, along with a 1-1 draw Jan. 22, and the Eagles were held scoreless for only the second time in 18 matches this season. Santa Margarita clinched the championship following JSerra and Mater Dei playing to a 2-2 tie at the Hoff Family Outdoor Athletic Complex at Joe O'Hara Field. Nguyen and David helped the Eagles win the CIF Southern Section Open Division title last year and reach the Southern California Division 1 Regional final.
